My name is Hubert de Launay and I specialise in making and restoring instruments of the violin and viol family. In the past 10 years I have worked in several workshops in Europe on high quality instruments.
I have a keen interest in the Dutch School of the 17th and 18th century. A substantial part of my time is spend on researching and writing articles about these fascinating instruments.
